DRILL & MILLING VICE

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

A drill press vice is primarily designed to be used in a drill press machine to clamp objects when drilling holes. Its flat base allows it to be mounted to a machine’s table and its open base bottom allows the drill bit to pass all the way through, if needed. Other than this, the vice has a simple design, involving two jaws and a screw.
1.) Continuous Screw gives a powerful grip on work.
2.) No lifting of the sliding jaw.
3.) The moving jaw is plain & fixed is provided with one vertical & one horizontal 90° V-grooves.
4.) Body graded Cast Iron dully stress relieved.
5.) Lead Screw toughened selected steel.
6.) Precision ground hardened & tempered tool steel jaws.
7.) Manufactured from close grained hi-tensile seasoned cast iron
8.) Vice body has premium polychromatic finish which is rust and scratch proof
9.) Vice Jaws are made from fully hardened and ground tool steel which allow the workpiece to be held dead square without use of any packing; this improves efficiency and life of jaws but also helps reduce strain on the vise body; parallelism to within 30 Micron.
10.) 360° swivel base allows the vise to be set at any angle on the vertical axis.
11.) Hold down slots allow for secure clamping of the vise on the machine table.
